I am a literary translator working from Norwegian and English into Italian. Holding degrees in both Interpreting and Translation and in Foreign Languages and Literatures, I also handle business translations, particularly in the financial sector.
I lived in Oslo for several years and have specialized in contemporary Norwegian literature, translating a wide range of crime fiction, including works by Jo Nesbø, Anne Holt, and Vidar Sundstøl. In recent years, I have also worked on non-fiction, including books by Erling Kagge.
Many Italian readers have told me that it was Norwegian writers' vivid depictions that first drew them to the country. Through their work, they have been able to immerse themselves in the silence of Norwegian nature and lose themselves in its landscapes.
I firmly believe that literature is a powerful cultural bridge, and I feel privileged to contribute, through my translations, to the dissemination and appreciation of Norwegian culture in Italy.
